It has been brought to the attention of the TSoM Board Members that our scheduled election is not in accordance with our bylaws. Our bylaws are listed on the TSoM website and can be researched. We were not in compliance with Article III, Section 3.6. Many TSoM board members and members have had discussions and debates on the most legal and logical way to get in compliance.
The TSoM Board passed a motion to move the election to the TSoM February 13th milonga.
The Election Committee has received two candidates' withdrawals from the ballot so the later election date
will also allow time to solicit new board members. TSoM will resend biographies of the candidates the week before the Feb 13th election.
The January 9th Milonga, at 4 Seasons, will STILL BE FREE TO TSoM members. There will be no lesson and no TSoM food, but Niko will be spinning some wonderful music for our dancing pleasure from 9:30 - 1.
