Do you want to be the fast track to the ultimate Tango experience? Well,
come to Desperados, and don't forget to bring your bathrobe!!
Seriously.
Yes. I think I know the first three letters of the words forming in your
mind.. The first one starts with W, right? Well, read on anyway:
Our Tango Desperados are always looking to achieve new dance goals, and we
have some incredible talents in our community with generosity and creativity
to spare. So this Monday, bring your open mind and (closed?) bathrobe to
elevate your dancing. What's in store? Well, a mini lesson on solo
practice by our very talented Gretchen Larson.
Sometime shortly after 8, we'll digress from our usual shared practice, to
open our minds to solo practice. Gretchen will lead us through some
concepts on developing our solo dance for better dancing with partners.
Why do you need a bathrobe? Well, let's put it this way: I don't know
exactly, but consider the possibilities if you show up without it! Maybe
you've had that dream. Put it in the car now, so you don't forget.
The Taster will start near 8:30 and run 20-30 minutes. Before and after
we'll have excellent music and the nicest bunch of dancers in town to enjoy
your favourite subversions.
