     Don't forget that this Saturday is the tsom 5th Saturday Milonga at the Virginia Street Church in St. Paul!

Music will start at 8:30pm and last til midnight, compliments of our DJ, Yanhua Deng.  Light snacks and bottled water will be on hand; 

any contributions to the food and beverage table will be appreciated.

[TSOM-Announce] Teacher Tasters... Double scoop

Hello tango friends,

 

I just had an ice cream cone this week at one of those fabulous family creameries. You know the type, superb quality, nice people, and when you ask for a single scoop of dairy nirvana, why they give you two!

 

So in the spirit of double-scoop summer treats, the Desperadoes Practica  offers you a mini-lesson with two talented teachers serving up the magic.

 

Please join us this Monday, June 1 at 7:30 pm to enjoy our double scoops of tango delection: Michael Cordner and Andrea DuCane. 

 

They have kindly agreed to teach a mini-lesson featuring "A gateway step for a change of direction".  They will start with a basic move and then add variations into different changes of direction.

 

I was lucky enough catch some of this redirection delection at their Tuesday class earlier this year, and I’m quite delighted to see more.

 

The mini-lessons will start about 7:45 to 8ish for 30 minutes of mind expansion, then it will immediately be followed by our usual open, unguided practica.

 

At Desperados, the first scoop is free.

Make sure you get to this one!   Woodland Hills Winery July 18th 6:00- 8:00PM  Tango at Woodland Hills Winery, one of the most beautiful wineries in Minnesota! Lesson, then dance!  Join us for a evening of Tango, along with appetizers and wine.  Help others learn the romance of the "Tango".  The price is $30.00 per person if you take the tango lesson and participate in the Wine tasting, plus you get (2) glasses of wine and appetizers. Hello Tango Friends,
Spring is heating up, and summer unofficially begins this
weekend. We would like to enjoy your company this Memorial
evening with a classic practilonga nig ht.

Please join us 7:30 till 11-ish..

We will have the excellent music of DJ Kori to lift our
moods, lighten our feet, and enhance our embrace.

We'll turn the pretty lights on and harsh lights off. I
will remove that terrible, perpetual scowl from my face
