Celebrate Super Bowl Eve (it's a national holiday, right?) with a night of tango. It will even be above 0°F.

Join me Saturday night, February 1, in downtown Minneapolis for a night of Argentine Tango at Four Seasons Dance Studio. Relax in an inviting, bohemian atmosphere and dance to the classic tangos of the Golden Age. Although there is no lesson beforehand, beginners are welcome.

Light snacks, wine and soft drinks are available. Feel free to BYOB.

Bataclan Tango is excited to announce that Analia Vega and Marcelo Varela will be in Minneapolis this coming weekend to teach their unique style of dancing, which is full of joy, creativity and sensuality. 
Don't miss this truly talented and enjoyable couple, considered among the best professional tango dancers and teachers in Buenos Aires.
We start this Friday, Jan 24th at 9:30pm with a milonga.

[TSOM-Announce] Milonga Caliente + Winter Update!

Hey Guys,

We are having a milonga this Saturday! Eric will be the DJ and we will start at 9 at the church as usual. Bring food to share if you'd like and get warmed up for the Spring session of UTango!

Speaking of the spring session, we will start on Thursday the 30th 7-9pm at the church. Our last "event" of the Winter session will be dancing at Loring this Sunday. The church has another event going on that will be pretty noisy, so we are going to opt out of practica and head to Loring Pasta Bar at 6 and dance to their live music.

Then, Monday the 20th we are planning a Tango Bomb in Coffman Union at 4pm. We will either be playing some of the music you normally hear in class or having some talented club members play for us, depending on who is there. We will just be dancing on the main floor and handing out flyers to promote the club. Hopefully we will surprise all of the students on their way to get textbooks at the bookstore and get some new members :)

At the end of February there will be a tango festival in Milwaukee and we are trying to get a group of students to go! Send us an email or let us know in class if you are interested or want more information.

Last but not least..... OUR T-SHIRTS ARE DONE!! So if you ordered one bring some money with you on the 1st week of class so you can pick yours up!

I think that's all we've got for now- we'll see you at the milonga this Saturday!

[TSOM-Announce] CORDOBA, ARGENTINA TANGO VACATION IN APRIL

Hello everybody,

Is very hard to move and organize this vacation at the same time but we have better chances if we do it in April in stead of March at least for this year.

I am planing for the second week of April that is when La Sooocial Milonga is happening on thursday night, the best milonga in town.

You leave Minneapolis on a friday and come back on the following sunday, just a week of activities.
