We are hatching a lot of plots over at Desperados this month!
Here’s a peek at the secret portfolio of evil dance plans…
Sinister plot number 1: Become better dancers!
Diabolical strategy: Share our tango secrets with other like-minded desperados.
Target Spoils: Three free passes for a Tomas and Michelle Seminar class.
Primary-nemesis: the horror of showing off in front of your tango friends !!
Although this one is labelled top secret/confidential. It may have leaked out that we sometimes have a little extra fun by sharing our deep-ninja tango moves in exchange for a chance to win a golden ticket or two. This Monday, anyone who comes on the floor and shares what they are working on, or even just what they like, will have a chance for a free class in the upcoming seminar with Tomas and Michelle. We have 3 tickets to give, and winners are chosen totally at random from those bravado souls who dare to share. This will be a great seminar weekend, with the capstone class and practilonga happening at our Feb 8th Monday event. BTW, if you have registered already for this seminar, the ticket can be used instead for $25 discount on a private lesson with Michelle.
Sinister plot number 2: Transform TangoCurious dancers into Tango obsessed dancers
Diabolical strategy: Welcome the curious with a smile and a simple introduction to Tango basics.
Target Spoils: More friends to enjoy on the dance floor.
Primary nemesis: TangoTonin Intoxication: New dancers are not conditioned like us.. We need to increase their dose gradually.. Send to teachers for deep tango training.
This will be an absolute beginner’s lesson. We will share the bare bones basics. Some of our members have volunteered to be taxi dancers, and we hope more will rotate in. This should help their first tango experience to be successful. In a few weeks, we will be hatching another plot to attract more TangoCurious to our secret lair.
Sinister plot number 3: Have a great seminar class and practilonga with the help of Tomas, Michelle, and DJ Pablo
Diabolical strategy: Give subscribing desperados a discount on the practilonga for committing to fun on a regular basis
Target Spoils: Class and dancing with a great group of humans… all of you. (from about 9 till 11 or so)
Primary-nemesis: the practilonga will start after the seminar class. But you’re coming for that class anyway! Right?
