[TSOM-Announce] Entanglements, Extractions, and Free Fabian y Lola

Dear Tango friends,

 

Entanglements and Extractions: Win free classes with Fabian & Lola

 

Join us at Desperados this week (25 February) and enjoy a special challenge to your tango brain. We’re calling it Entanglements and Extractions, but it’s really a little exploration about finding your way out of tango positions, in the most entertaining ways. We’ll give you a little demo, and we’ll remind you of some tools you already have. Then, we’re going to let you play, create, and laugh. After a half an hour or so, we’ll invite you to come up and share your creations. (Optional, but super fun)

 

We’ll start Entanglements around 8:00. Sharing will begin around 8:30 ish.  

We’ll give away a few passes to enjoy upcoming group classes with Fabian by our usual scientific methods. (Hat, marker, chocolate)

This Friday Mala Yunta celebra el Carnaval!

As it's traditional in Argentina, the weekends in February are the "bailes de Carnaval", even if it's a milonga.

Join us for a Milonga de Carnaval in Minneapolis, with the spirit of a Carnaval in Buenos Aires! Ok, I know, with few differences... but let's try! There will be the "Argentinean" Carnaval Carioca at the end, which is also traditional in the Argentinean parties.

Admission: $10 ($5 full time students with ID)*

Includes snacks, drinks, raffle and a great time!

*NOTE: we'd love to continue offering unlimited open bar (or "canilla libre", as we say in Argentina) so we'll ask for a donation of $2 per person. It's NOT mandatory, but it will help us greatly. You may add it to your admission fee or just to the "donations" jar located at the snack's table. Gracias!!
