[TSOM-Announce] A Celebration of Russian New Years following this Thursday's Class.

One of our vibrant tango community dancers wishes to share in celebrating the Russian New Year and she will be bringing in some authentic Russian foods and some bubbly to do so.

Following the lesson the floor will become a mini guided practica for which Ron will be there to work with you in exploring issues you may be having difficulty in overcoming by answering your questions and demonstrating how more difficult movements can be achieved.

Ron often challenges his students in his classes even to the point of frustration but for those taking on that challenge they find what was once not doable, can now be achieved.

Given the complexity of Argentine Tango many challenges cannot be overcome at first yet a foundation was established to further pursue the goal of acquiring the necessary skills to accomplish and start using the more difficult movements in this very complex dance.

Ron does not take the cookie cutter approach of just showing a move, he is 100% focused on the "movement" itself and by doing so his students are discovering that mastering the "movement" (not memorizing the move) is what makes the more challenging moves attainable.

So come out for the lesson this Thursday to experience first hand some of the ways and methods that Ron uses in his own dance and that he shares weekly with his students to acquire greater efficiency in movement. The full effect of implementing the methods and techniques is what  creates a higher level of connection with your partner AND the music. It takes 2 to Tango indeed yet it is only when all 3 of these elements have been cultivated into one's dance that makes this truly beautiful second to no other dance on the planet.

Below is a class description, all is included for one price of $15.00.

This class is designed to improve your Tango on many levels and in many ways. The class starts with 15 minutes of fun and entertaining drills (although drills may be perceived as boring and mundane to some they are without a doubt the most beneficial way to create the quickest improvement towards a higher level of dance) by including drills into the new format you should expect to experience immediate and ongoing improvements.
A full hour of instruction assisted by Vessela Kouneva will follow ending with the last 15 minutes in the form of a guided practice. Exploring each week's concepts during the practice session is sure to compliment and provide for continued growth in your dance. Each week a specific area of Tango will be dissected and broken down to it's most natural state. The goal of this class is to enhance the joy of our respective journey in this beautiful dance. If by instituting the newly discovered building blocks, new concepts and drills provided leads to a better experience onto the Milonga floor each week, you will have reached your goal. Instructor: Ron Johnson Phone: 952-358-1776. All levels encouraged and welcome. Email: thetangotimes@gmail.com Cost $15.00 This is an Ongoing Class not a series.
