Submitted by Scott Davies - scottmateo@hotmail.com On Sunday June 20th, Rogue Tango will play a live music milonga at the Eagles Club (2507 East 25th St, Minneapolis, MN), starting at 6 pm. Cost is $10 and is for the fully vaccinated. It has come to my attention that this event conflicts somewhat with the Tango Picnic that Paul Lohman is hosting on Sunday afternoon. I feel badly about this, and so, propose the following solution: We will start DJing tango music at 6pm but the band will not begin playing their 3 sets of live Tango until closer to 7pm. The band will continue until 10 and we'll DJ after that until everyone wants to go home. That way, tango enthusiasts can make it to both events and fully enjoy a merry tango-filled Sunday. I hope this solution is helpful to everyone and I wish Paul loads of success with his Buscandolo event. Thank you. Mateo Don't forget, the following Sunday, Rogue Tango will be back at the Loring---now called GRAYS---hosting our live music event, much as we have done for many years. I trust everyone tries to make it for this. We will try to hold at least one milonga at Grays each month. The $5 cover will not change, there is a new menu and fine beverages. Plus, the inimitable ambience of the venue itself. | | |
