Special Event!! Saturday, September 23rd: Workshop on Argentine Tango music by visiting Buenos Aires musicians Eduardo Tami (flute) and Leandro Marquesano piano). www.eduardotami.com They have been invited to the United States to play concerts at several MN Universities, Duluth, Marshall and Anoka. While they are here they have also agreed to teach a workshop in tango music for us. They are delighted to bring their great knowledge of Argentine tango to us, and we are delighted to welcome them and learn from them! 4:00PM Saturday, 3142 1st Ave S. 55408. Then, join uson Sunday, September 24th for an outdoor barbeque, to show Eduardo and Leandro some Minnesota hospitality! This is in conjunction with Open Streets Nicollet. Open Streets is from 11 to 5, openstreetsmpls.org/nicollet, the party will start about noon, the barbeque will happen about 4- 5. On Thursday, September 28th, Come experience authentic tangos from Argentina when flutist Eduardo Tami and pianist Leandro Marquesano visit the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Performing Arts Center for a free public concert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28th. The Argentinian musicians will perform traditional music along with Anoka-Ramsey Music Department faculty and students. Additionally, dancers from the Minnesota Tango community will be performing on stage.
