Fun, sexy, and not so difficult if you do them right. Next month is Milonga Month. It starts with Saturday classes!  If you are not comfortable with milonga, take a beginning lesson to bring yourself up to speed and get your comfort level up.  Remember - second class in the week is half price! Every Tuesday at 9, after the lessons.  Thursday, July 31st: Tango Dancing on the Piazza! We have been invited to perform and share our love of tango at the Piazza located on Nicollet Mall near the corner of 12th Street South.  We will dance and teach a lesson on a really cool, inviting patio deck.  Come and dance, perform, or come and recruit!  5PM to 6:30PM, free Friday August 1st:  Tango to the Blues and Blues Dancing classes and outing! Blues music has many similarities to tango, and sometimes is more approachable than tango because our ears are more familiar with it.  I always see an increase in tango understanding with people who take this class. Blues Dancing is really popular around here - if you don't know it, you should.  There are whole communities dedicated to it! Afterwards we'll go out together to listen to bernardallison.com at Famous Dave's Uptown and practice what we learned. 7:00 TTTB, 8:00 Blues Dancing. Upcoming:  First Wednesday's: Krungthep Thai Passport to Argentina! Yes, this critically acclaimed Thai restaurant has invited us to dance on their lovely wood floor every first Wednesday. 2523 Nicollet Ave S. The tango starts at 7:00 and ends at 10:00. Better than Hotel Ivy- earlier, better food and service, reasonable. The Pad Thai is amazing! $5, free parking. Duluth and Thunder Bay Tango Workshops: 2nd Weekend of August, August 9 and 10 we will be teaching in Duluth.  4th Saturday of September we will be teaching in Thunder Bay, Canada. Winter Tango Encuentro!  That's right - I am co-hosting a Winter Tango festival in Mobile, Alabama the second weekend of January, 2015.  You'll need to get away by then, right?!? Tango Boutique!
