Another month, another obstacle to be surmounted. Last month. Sabine
was doing God's work down in Frontenac, so everybody went there. This
month, the Basilica is doing the Block Party thing. Not so much God's
work, but I won't argue taste.
No matter what, There Will Be Tango at 9:30 pm, along with a little
something to stuff faces and wet whistles with.
But in order to get the auditory/tactile/gustatory treats I promise,
you'll have a little work to do getting parked up. You may still find
parking on the block, but you'll probably have better luck on the south
and east sides of Loring Park. If you're really desperate for some
tango, you could even use the valet parking at Cafe Lurcat, I imagine.
Milonga Flor de Luna is at 4 Seasons Dance Studio, behind the green door
in the alley off Harmon Place on the north side of Loring Park in
Minneapolis.
