[TSOM-Announce] TANGO SALON WORKSHOPS WITH FLORENCIA TACCETTI - April 26-27

4 Seasons Dance Studio Presents:

TANGO SALON WORKSHOPS WITH FLORENCIA TACCETTI
MULTILEVEL WORKSHOPS
April 26-27

Florencia will be back to Minneapolis soon. This will be the only opportunity to study with her for a long period of time, don't miss it!!!

Florencia's Instruction:
Florencia is permanently designing new drills and finding new ways for students of this culture to capture the essence of tango that have been moving argentinians for over a century so you can recreate your own tango with the same honesty, intensity and musicality.

Argentine Tango has a very particular energy to explore that is part of our idiosyncrasy and makes the dance so very interesting and unique.
You can learn how to find that energy on your self and blend it with your own 26 as a new way to express your self.

When you learn argentine tango you are exploring a different culture with it, a culture full of emotions and meanings. You can find it in the lyrics, in the way we walk, on the way we embrace each other and communicate with each other. Then you have your own culture and your own emotions that you bring in to tango as well and the result of that fusion can be very, very rich.

Florencia will show you ways to learn traditional patterns by finding your own voice in this dance so it can be truth to your self and to your partners.

Florencia's Background:
Florencia was part of the generation that made tango reborn from ashes after 30 years of silent existence during the dictatorship in Argentina.
She learned tango directly from the milongueros that were proudly passing the survived information to the young generations at that time.

She study with Miguel Balmaceda, Antonio Todaro, Pepito Avellaneda, Juan Bruno, Gustavo Naveira, Graciela Gonzalez, Mingo Pugliese,Tete Rusconi, Chicho Frumboli, Fabian Salas, Tomy O'Connor and Pocho & Nelly.

She had the honor of performing with Pepito Avellaneda, Pablo Veron, Gustavo Naveira and Chicho Frumboli before she was invited in 1997 by US tango producer Daniel Trenner to share her experience and knowledge along many of the new tango communities in US at that time like San Francisco, CA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Denver/Boulder, CO; N.York, NY; Boston, MA; Sta. Barbara, CA; Montreal, Canada.

Florencia was then based in the Twin Cities for 14 years sponsored by 4 Season Dance Studio. She opened the Argentine Tango Class at the Dance Program of the University of Minnesota.

"All human beings have in their inner selves, in their souls,
a very mellow sound, their note,
which is the uniqueness of their being, their essence.
If the sound of their actions
does not harmonize with that note, that person can not be happy. " Sophia Prokofieva

"Todo ser humano tiene en su interior, en su alma,
un sonido bajito, su nota,
que es la singularidad de su ser, su esencia.
Si el sonido de sus actos
no coincide con esa nota, esa persona no puede ser feliz. "   Sophia Prokofieva
