Welcome to the tvSvOvM blog

This blog will show you if your messages are going out. The blog will receive TSOM announce messages just like a person. If you need proof your message was sent, this will confirm it.  Please check  this page, after 10pm for messages sent to TSOM announce before 8pm each weekday (Weekend messages are released at the availability of the Monitor).

If you are not getting your own messages, there are a few things you can check:

check the spam folder (9 out 10 times that's where I find misplaced TSOM messages)
check the spam settings
check with your IT person or email provider
put "mntango.org" in the "ok" domain list for the spam filter

To give your message the best chance of making it to everyone's email box:

Keep your message simple - text is more universal than fancy formatting.
Avoid attachments (we can put them on the website and provide a link for you to help).

always put the TSOM address in the "to"; mail sender HATES bcc
avoid  any BCC or more than 10 addresses on the same message going to TSOM announce

Spam filters seem to be 90% of the reason a TSOM message will not reach your box. In the attempt to rid the mail of the bountiful amounts of junk, "spam guard" techniques are imperfect, and will let some spam through, and inadvertently catch TSOM messages.

Last resort:

Keep track of what you get vs ones you see here on this blog that you didn't get.  Contact the TSOM administrator (see the web site) and supply the info. Perhaps we'll see some patterns that can help solve the puzzle. We'll research the best we can and also submit it to our web provider for any help they can provide.

Happy dancing!
