I am pleased to announce that Alejandro Ziegler Tango Quartet is back in the Twin Cities on Nov 9-10!
Many of you remember and are still longing to listen to them again!
If you don't know them, here is a short bio:
Born in 2007, the Alejandro Ziegler Tango Quartet, is an ensemble of piano, violin, bandoneón and double bass that developed its own unique style of tango music. Their music reflects both, innovation and tradition, becoming a new synthesis of the traditional tango orchestra. They play in the style of Di Sarli, Pugliese, Troilo and Piazzola among others. With their unique mix of tango, improvisation and romanticism, the Alejandro Ziegler Tango Quartet has gained international fame with its interpretations. It is now touring North America for a second time and will have only 2 performances in Miinnesota: one Milonga and one Concert.
Milonga:
When: Saturday, Nov 9th at TSoM 2nd Saturday Milonga
Where: Sokol Hall, 383 Michigan Street, St. Paul, MN 55102
Tickets: $20 TSoM members, $25 non-members, discount for full time students
DJ: Paul Lohman
Class included, starts at 8:30pm – Milonga starts at 9:30pm
Concert:
When: Sunday, Nov 10th at 7pm
Where: Sabes JCC – 4330 S. Cedar Lake Rd., Minneapolis, 55416
Tickets: $20 in advance, $25 at the door, $15 full time students (with ID)
