The lessons will be held at Minnesota Ballet, 301 West First Street, Suite 800, Duluth, MN 55802
On Saturday night, we will join with the Ashland, WI tango community at Casablanca Traders for a tango dance. There will be a lesson!

Come join the tour! It's time to plan. Airplane tickets are now around $1100, a great deal! My dates are from November 20 to December 8th, but you can pick the dates that work for you and still stay in the house with us. So much fun! Buenos Aires Tango Orchestra La Vuaturé: Manuel wanted me to thank the Minnesota tango community for the warm welcome. He is quite impressed at our love of live tango music, and the great interest in tango music as an art form locally. He himself only listens to tango, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of musicians, singers, orchestras, composers, lyrics, writers and all else tango. Saturday workshop: Secrets of Tango Music from the Manuel and Luis workshops. If you missed the workshop that Manuel and Luis gave, we will share some of the information that we gleaned. Bring your notebooks, and your dance shoes! 2:00 $20
Wednesday Oct 2 at Hotel Ivy: Come and get your mid-week tango fix with some fine dancing and socializing. 11th and 2nd Ave S, Mpls 8:30, $6
3rd Saturday Milonga: At the Hotel Ivy, hosted and DJ'd by Christopher Everett. 9:30 start
Upcoming: Next week, our expat Wendy Huebner is back home visiting! She is bringing her Argentine friend Magaly to the Tuesday party, and then Wednesday Magaly will teach us some Argentine folkdances, including Chacarera and Zumba. What is Zumba? A very sensual dance where a couple approach each other flirtaciously with their handkerchiefs and romantically intertwine with each other in a dance of love. I'm sure that those who have been to BA have seen it! Wednesday night Oct 23. We are certainly lucky to have Wendy as a friend!
