| | | Classes this Week: This week in Fully Vaccinated class: We start classes at 6:30 and review a few things, just in case your tango has not stayed as sharp as you think it should have. This week we are moving right along, and are going to take a quick review of milonga. We'll remember how to recognize it, how to dance to it, how to enjoy it. We'll discuss how it fits into your repertoire, the differences and the similarities of technique. This is one of my favorite tango dances, so come and get some of my tricks.
Private Lessons: Yes, we can have a private lesson here if you have been vaccinated. It is past time to get your tango up to where it should be - it's going to be a great year for parties, milongas, festivals, etc. You don't want to show up nervous about your dancing!! Call or text to schedule a time that works for you.
Tuesday Milonga: Let's dance together, without masks! We can join here for a milonga for those who have been vaccinated. We've been having a great time! The food, the wine, the conversations, the laughs - Come and join us! We start at 8:00. This week's theme: Summer White. It's time to bring on summer with our beautiful white outfits, maybe some white wine, and white food. Whipped cream?
Rogue Tango at Eagles Club - $10: Rogue Tango is delighted to return to the Eagle's Club (2507 East 25th St, Minneapolis MN 55406). The entire band of Jay Stotsky, Wendy Tangen Foster, Tom Lewis, and Mateo will be performing a delicious mix of tangos, waltzes and milongas for your pleasure. The date is Sunday May 23rd and the milonga goes from 6 till 9 pm. The cost is $10.00. DJ'd music between our sets.
They do ask that only people who have been fully vaccinated attend as we all want to continue to be safe even as this dreadful pandemic begins to wind down.
