At Desperados we are committed; Some of us to the insane asylum, and all of us to Tango. But if we can avoid the institutions for just more 8 weeks, our Twin-cities are going to have a world class Tango marathon with performances by La Juan D'Arienzo and Hiawatha Tango Orchestra... And we will enjoy the virtuosity of five top-class DJ's from around the country! Boom!!
So before the remaining spots evaporate, we would like make our contribution to this party. For those leaders in our ranks who have not yet realized it's time to act... Well,.. it's time to act! Now here's a little Desperados style help:
Come to Desperados Practica this Monday Jan 6. Register for the Marathon on the spot with either Terry or Mark who will be there to assist. When we get to 10 new leader registrations, we'll put all your names in hat. We'll draw two winners. Each winner will then get %50 off their registration. If we get 15, we'll draw three. Your odds are really good. But we must get to 10 before we draw.
We have our local followers covered too! After we draw our leaders, we'll randomly draw two names from the first 10 followers in the Marathon queue. (Yes, our followers are smart and have signed up!) Those followers will also win 50% off the price of their tickets. FYI, our leaders will be matched to the wait-list followers as virtual partners. It's not a date, you don't even have know who you were matched to, just that you were. It's simply a way to ensure role balancing for the Marathon.
If you were waiting for a little help, this is it. Soon enough the gig will be up, and the spots gone to twinkle-eyed, twinkle-toes from out of town who recognize an awesome weekend coming from miles away!
