[TSOM-Announce] May 1, 2020 “Tango Show” with Fabian & Lola

Greetings MN Area Tangueros:

This note is an invitation for you to perform at the Fri, May 1, 2020 "Tango Show"

 

You probably know that the next Fabián Salas and Lola Diáz tango weekend is confirmed on May 1-4, 2020 in the Twin Cities. https://www.bluemoonballroom.com/fabian--lola-tango 

The general schedule will include 2 milongas, tango show, 7 workshops, F&L performances, private lessons, farewell party. Workshop topics yet to be finalized.

 

Friday, May 1 Tango Show (anticipated schedule):

·        Workshop 8-9:15pm (by Fabian and Lola)

·        Dancing 9:30-10:30pm (DJ Fabian)

·        Tango Show 10:30-11pm (area tangueros)

·        Dancing 11pm to close

NOTE: Performances on Fri, May 1 are only with area tangueros. Fabian and Lola only perform on Sat night, May 2 at their "Grand Milonga"

 

If you are an instructor:

We invite you to provide 1-3 performances including you as an instructor and/or some of your students. A team would be considered as one performance, regardless of the numbers in the team.

 

If you are a student:

You need to find an instructor who will train you and recommend you to perform either with the instructor, a fellow student, or in a team performance. This is not a competition. Rather…..it is a fun celebration of our love and passion for Argentine Tango.

 

Types of performances:

·        Tango

·        Vals

·        Milonga

·        Tango Nuevo

 

Appreciation:

Each performer will get in to the milonga admission free on Friday night. As an additional token of appreciation, each performer will receive a 30% discount on any part of this tango weekend.

 

Last year was filled with great fun, humor, talent and excitement. We hope you'll be able to participate this year.
