Argentine Tango Workshops with Maxi Gluzman

Workshops, DJing and Privates in Minneapolis (May 31-June 1) and Rochester (June 7-8)

Background: Want to improve your posture, embrace, and develop a connection between the partners and the music? Come and learn the secrets of the Argentine tango from Maximiliano Gluzman, one of the special young dancers and teachers from Buenos Aires who is carrying the torch of the milongueros from tango’s Golden Age. Maxi has spent years researching the social tango of the old masters. Maxi’s dance has the musicality and the improvisational inventiveness that is characteristic of Buenos Aires’ rich tradition.

His teaching is about sharing the magic of the porteño dance with the rest of the world: its technique, its culture, and its mystery. A magic that, as difficult as it is to conceptualize, he has been able to transmit to his students from many countries.

Maxi taught with legendary milonguero Tete Rusconi in Rome, and in festivals in Buenos Aires, Zurich, Sicily, Capri, Ann Arbor, Chicago, and Washington DC.
