[TSOM-Announce] TTC tango camp Minneosota June 12-15

Dear tango friends,

I am so happy to be able to produce, with my team, another tango festival : TTC Tango camp Minnesota
JUNE 12 -15

-Registration sale prices end in 4 days!-

After a lot of work we have come up with a very friendly formula for tango learning. You learn as you go, and after last years tango camp we received feedback from many of you which we took into consideration and came up with a plan together with Homer Ladas.

This is a festival that is geared towards building the tango community at large, there is a "fit" for anybody that wants to learn tango and that wants to teach, guide and help organize tango events like practicas or milongas.

The one thing that stood out was (is) the setting: Villa Maria in Lake Frontenac MN, this peaceful environment was a wonderful and magical place to learn tango and be surrounded by people that were eager to learn, play and dance. The milongas in the evening were preceded by a walk through a meadow where the fire flies were dancing to the tango music that you heard in the distance.
With a setting like this, most people were overwhelmed by the choices that were presented to them, so we made it a whole lot easier for everybody: 4 days to learn, dance, and breath in tango, make new tango friends with great teachers and only 2 tracks to choose from. The student track or the teacher in training track.

So much more info on those 2 tracks you can find at www.tangoteachercoop.org

One of the biggest draws will be the SUPER PRACTICAS. In these practicas all of the teachers will be available to you: Homer and Cristina Ladas, Tomas Howlin, Mitra Martin, Melanie Klaric, Brigitta Winkler, Nick Jones, Diana Cruz, and Jason Laughlin. That is right; all 9 teachers in one room for you to ask questions to. In addition to that: we will have practica guides. These are teachers in training (only 6 will be hand picked by the main instructors) that will guide the practica so that everybody will be working on a similar topic!

Right after the super practica we eat dinner, followed by a presentation to dig your heels in even deeper into tango: As I am writing this I am sitting in Buenos Aires, Argentina. ( yes, the weather is warm here) Dancing the Argentine tango is one thing, understanding it is another. I have found that the journey to learn this art form, takes many different roads. So do not hesitate to come to the presentations! You will love them!

Like I said, there is something for everyone;
You just started to dance tango? Come to the practicas, dinners, presentations and milongas!
You have been to many classes and need more tango information? Add the tango classes. ( The classes are not geared for absolute beginner dancers)
You want to get even more serious; like assisting at practicas, or in class, or start your own class and you are not afraid to lead and follow, or you are teaching already? Try out the teacher in training track.

If, you cannot pay in full right away, please do not hesitate to contact us! We will be able to work something out ( :

Looking forward to another successful tango festival right here in Minnesota! We cannot do it without you! Please take advantage of the sale prices:
