Everyone longs for the kind of deeply connected tango that we work to find here. What makes tango different from so many other dances is the constant sharing with our partners. We are sharing our bodies, our thoughts, our affection, our talents, and our energy. We work hard to make sure that our technique in tango is as good as possible, but don't neglect everything else we are bringing to our partner. Everything we give, we get back. Give the most positive that we have, so that we get the most positive back. One of my most popular workshops!  7 to 8:30 Then:  Milonga at International Deli & Banquet Hall (Formerly Abetto's)!   What made this place one of the most popular I've held milongas? Everything we need in a dance place: A beautiful wood floor, with a lot of room. Atmosphere with inexpensive but wonderful food. Free, large parking lot right beside the building.  Liquor store for those who would like a variety of beverages, that you can share. A central location, between Minneapolis and St. Paul, with easy access - 1/2 block E of Dale on Como Ave.  Plus: Food specials (Indian) and a wine tasting at the liquor store for us!   And - we're celebrating my birthday there.  Cost for BOTH Passionate Tango workshop and milonga:  only $10! Valentine's day, Feb 14th Outing Lodge in Stillwater is having a Valentine's Dinner with tango music and dancing.  6:30p Social Hour- Dinner & Tango demo/lesson to follow: "Food for lovers". Come with someone special.   Hors d'oeuvres during social hour, 5 course meal, dessert, Champagne, Cabernet Sauvignon & Brandy $180/couple-$ 90 per person reserved up to 3 days in advance,  Add $10 fee to all reservations after February 10th. On February 16, from 11:00-2:00 there will be a tango brunch with live music by Bob Barnes!Sunday:  Fiesta Fiesta Restaurant, 14871 Granada Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124. Great south of the border cuisine.  Tango Boutique! Clothes, shoes and accessories for the tango dancer.  Many items from Buenos Aires, with the color and style that you can't find here in Minnesota.  Come and shop before or after the lessons, during the party (Tuesday) or set up an appointment.
