Saturday Nov 16th, Milonga Baile Ruso Russian Milonga: St. Petersburg Restaurant, 7:30 lesson, 8:30 dance, this time in the private room. Elegant space, close to downtown, full bar (and vodka bar!), great martinis, wood floor, Russian inspired food. I received more good comments about this place than any other, including someone who said it was her favorite milonga EVER! Lesson at 7:30 (invite your friends!) and dance from 8:30 until midnight. Friday, Nov 15th Dancers Dance at Hotel Ivy: All kinds of music, all kinds of dancers! Hotel Ivy at 2nd and 11th St. We will start with an Argentine Tango lesson at 8, then dance from 9 to midnight. Free parking on the street. Cover $3
I leave Wed for my annual excursion to Buenos Aires! Classes will continue while I am in Buenos Aires under the tutelage of Augusto and his assistants, except for the Advanced class. Come and check out his great lessons - packed with information.
Advanced Classes resume Thursday, December 12th. I will be back to resume all the lessons with lots of new information from BA (be prepared to work!). That's why I continue to go on these expensive trips - to bring back the true essence of tango to this community.
