What is happening with Dance Life Ballroom??

Shinya McHenry, the owner and creative director behind Dance Life Ballroom wants to focus solely on Ballroom dance, and host large ballroom crowds. He has found his new home in Edina, and is waiting to sign the lease! He will let go of all the social dances, and Argentine Tango is one of them.
This means that Tango & I is looking for a new home. There are some options available to us, and we are looking as to what will work best; location, parking, floor, mirrors, and the time for classes. I will know for sure what is happening at the end of October and will let you know as soon as I do as well!
For now, we will teach on Wednesdays at Dance Life Ballroom and on Saturday mornings at the Tango & I studio until further notice.

They will expire December 31 2017!!!!! That will give you 3 months to use up your lessons. THIS IS FOR ARGENTINE TANGO only!

When you want to buy a new Argentine Tango package, you still can ( : You will do that directly with Tango & I. The same with single classes. This starts October 1 2017 ! Prices are $14 for a single lesson, and $120 for a 10 class package. The packages are good for 6 months.

At Tango & I we work the classes so that you can walk in the first 2 weeks. You are more than welcome to walk in the 3rd week as well, but you have to be aware that a lot of material will be used from the previous 2 weeks!!! IF you feel that you should catch up, come to a practica, or opt for a private lesson!

Queer tango in Minneapolis

We did not have enough people to sign up to start the challenge. We are now getting word out that Queer tango is something that Minneapolis/st. Paul needs and is ready for. In November we will host a Queer tango Bootcamp just for this occasion.
In the mean time, have your LGBT friends and family come and join us for lessons. At Tango & I you will have to learn both roles and then people can pick what ever suits them best, or keep switching roles as you go!

James Sewell Ballet and Sabine Ibes collaborate

Very happy to be collaborating with James Sewell again! James and I will dance a duet to music by the Ahn Trio, which will be performing life. We are also incorporating the feel of tango partnership with the JSB dancers. So you might recognize some tango inspired movement!
