May, feed your tango! Walking out in my garden is such a delight in the month of May. Little seedlings, green fresh buds, the early plumb blossoms. I am lucky to be preparing our home grown asparagus with our tasty eggs from our own chicken coop. Our daughters call us modern day hippies. That just makes me smile: elegant tango walking in my rubberboots and overalls behind the lawn mower. Growing my own mint to add to the water at the milongas. Mini tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries for in the cake to be shared at lessons, practicas and milongas. Even left over seedlings ( yes, indoors under the light, in a mini green house) that I bring to Dance Life Ballroom. What delight to have tango and gardening be intertwined. A little sunlight, water, nutrients. A little food and love goes into growing seedlings. You can guess where I am going with this? Love your tango? You need to feed it. Come to class to make sure your tango is as delicious and colorful as our apples will be come fall. Oh, tell all of your hippie friends to come to tango BOOTCAMP June 3rd!
