New start, new tango chances, new tango intentions!

After a whirlwind Argentine Tango weekend with TTC, I am sure you must feel inspired by a class that you took with Michelle Lamb, or you went out dancing and thought I want to feel more, know more, dance more tango!

One of the reasons to have a tango festival is to stimulate your curiosity for this dance. Sure, you might not dance with the more experienced dancers today. But you could be next time!! Over the years that I went to the biggest tango festival of all: Buenos Aires, I have learned that as my dancing got better, so did the dancing experiences at the milongas where I did not know anybody. The first year I went for 2 weeks, I danced only a handful of times. It does take some dedication to your learning program.           Come to class! Show up to practica with a plan, listen to music! ( see Spotify link below) have faith in your tango, invest in a private lesson.

This month at Tango & I we will focus on intentions;  Your musical intentions with your partners, your internal sensation toward the tango.   How to express your embrace, your movement and your body.  We will do so through out the month with carefully selected exercises and tango movements.

Every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning you will find classes and Practica at Dance Life Ballroom - 6015 Lyndale Ave.S, Minneapolis

Tango Teacher Coop, Minneapolis happened this past weekend!!!  We had a blast! So much learning through participating. Tango teachers and dancers from across the country came to Minneapolis to be part of something very unique. To get together with other tango teachers to network and to learn to implement teaching techniques though learning more about tango musicality from 6 top tango maestros in the world. As one of our participants stated: " My mind is still blown from all the inspiration and fun from this past weekend. I am honored and feel blessed to have been a part of such an amazing gathering of like minded souls."
Thank you to all for participating, volunteering, dancing, promoting, and sharing. Could not have done it without our wonderful Minneapolis Tango Community!
I could not have been able to host these past 5 days without our donors! Thank you so very very much for your generosity!
Inspired to know even more about tango music? You think you can beat somebody from Japan? Or France? with your knowledge of tango songs? Or you want to add to your playlist? Here is one link for you!
