Classes this Week: We have been doing some very challenging work lately, focusing on boleos, secadas and ganchos. They are all related, and all come down to the correct technique required in all of your tango movements. If you are standing, walking, moving, embracing and connecting correctly, all these things will happen naturally and beautifully. If not, it could be a symptom of larger problems in your dance that you are covering up. You can dance for years, and have a lot of fun, but if you really want to catch all of the best tango has to offer, it is important to master these. Sometimes things you learn in early classes need to be tweaked as you progress in your dance. Advanced lessons - look for some important news coming up!
