Classes this Week: We have been doing some very challenging work lately, focusing on boleos, secadas and ganchos.  They are all related, and all come down to the correct technique required in all of your tango movements.  If you are standing, walking, moving, embracing and connecting correctly, all these things will happen naturally and beautifully.  If not, it could be a symptom of larger problems in your dance that you are covering up.  You can dance for years, and have a lot of fun, but if you really want to catch all of the best tango has to offer, it is important to master these. Sometimes things you learn in early classes need to be tweaked as you progress in your dance. Advanced lessons - look for some important news coming up!

Duluth Tango Workshop weekend, March 28th and 29th. Sat: 2:00 Beginners - Fundamentals of Argentine Tango: The elegant walk, the embrace, the cruzada, moving as one, how to listen and interpret the music
3:45 Advanced Beginners - Ochos, getting into them and getting out of them, making them beautiful and musical.
Sun: 12:30 - Turns and More Turns, including one of the most versatile moves in tango, the molinete. Plus many options to make each move more interesting, more musical and more delightful.
2:15 - More Advanced Moves and Concepts, embellishments, secadas and ganchos.
Classes are $20 each, or $70 for the weekend.  Full time students are half price.
Classes held at 819 North 18th Ave E. Duluth, Minnesota 55812.

Saturday Rock and Roll, Canceled this week:  because of the Duluth Tango Workshops.

Tuesday Party  You've heard how fun it is - stop by and check it out. Tuesday at 9, after the lessons. We always have a good time!
