Upcoming: Duluth Workshops on the 4th weekend of March, Thunder Bay workshops on the 4th weekend of April. Musings: Floorcraft. Yes, important for safety. But I think of it also as fun! Traveling within the space given and using the space efficiently is part of what makes tango exciting. But it gets really exhilarating when you feel the floor as its own entity - living, breathing, with its own nature, personality and dynamism. When you are a part of this entity, and know it is healthy, working well together, finely tuned and all connected within itself, it is almost transcendent. It is part of what makes a Buenos Aires milonga so special. Everyone in the room, even those not dancing, feel it. But when there is a part that is unhealthy - someone dancing with no concern for their place within the rhonda - it's like a cancer. The dancers in Buenos Aires have amazing cures for these problems, but all we can do here is remember: Feel, and honor, your place in the rhonda. | | | Tango Boutique! New arrivals!
