Thanks to everyone that attended the 5th Saturday milonga. Niko spun the tunes, Fran put out a great spread.Thanks to those that brought contributions too.
The balance was perfect for leaders and followers, and most of the night everyone was out on the floor, having a great time.
We highlighted two composers born in November, including Jacob Gade's birthday: 1869, November 29 - BIRTH OF JACOB "THUNE" GADE, from Denmark, who wrote the famous "Tango Jalousie". Jenny provided us with great information to expand our knowledge of Tango.
We had two out of town visitors. Also, we had on display a framed painting that has been gifted to TSoM, and a framed picture of the birthplace of tango (La Boca).
Please join us in two weeks, on December 13th, our 2nd Saturday milonga, at Four Seasons where we'll feature a few composers born in December with live music, including bandoneon and piano, played by our local and esteemed musicians, Bob Barnes and Jarrod Wendland.
