Musicality Workshop/Working the Endings Saturday Nov 15th: 15 years ago, on my first trip to Buenos Aires, I was blown away the first time I danced with a milonguero. Although I had been dancing tango for some time, I had never really heard the music in the dance until it was explained to me through his body. Now I make sure I work to give that gift to everyone I dance with, and you can too! It's not interesting unless it's musical, and musicality doesn't come for free. There are specific exercises you can do improve, and we'll do those. Tango lives in the music - not the moves. It makes me crazy when I see great moves done at the wrong time in the music, or not musical at all. Such a missed opportunity! This is my most popular workshop. November 15th, 2:00. $20
Classes: While I am Buenos Aires, the Tuesday lessons will be taught by Augusto on Nov 25, and by Dave and Greta (Gretchen) on Dec 2nd and 9th.
