Come and watch, or participate, and share more about the social dance of Buenos Aires. We need YOU to help spread the word about tango!  The event is FREE! 7 to 8 PM Sunday, April 7th Edinborough Park, 7700 York Ave S, Edina. This Saturday, March 30th:  Milonga hosted by Andres Gross, and I will DJ!. Starts at 9:30. Live Music by the trio Los Mosqueteros 10.45pm. DJ: Lois Donnay. Also includes Piattelli Malbec and Paula's wonderful snacks. This milonga is definitely worth it! General admission: $15. Full time students $5 Four Seasons Dance, 1637 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403 Classes this Week: This week we continue working on boleos and secadas. This is essential to the free and beautiful tango to which we all aspire. We'll learn more about how to lead them, how to follow them, and how to make them your own. These are very fun moves if done just right, but challenging until you convince your body how to do them correctly. When done incorrectly, they are painful and can even be dangerous. One of the biggest complaints I hear about is complicated moves that dancers see and try, but end up hurting or embarrassing their partners. We would never do that!!  Let's learn to do them correctly! Remember Thursday class starts at 7:00 now.  Tuesday Milonga: Always a fun time! The theme for tomorrow's milonga is CHOCOLATE! It's spring, when "a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of love". We can't give you any more love than usual, but we can give you chocolate. Chocolate triggers the brain to release endorphins that cause your pulse to speed up and give you a pleasant high feeling, rather like being in love. Bring chocolate, wear chocolate brown, or just come and share the love! Next week: April Fools! Private Lessons:  Scheduling now! Cement what you've learned in the group lessons! Or if you are not ready for group lessons, take private lessons and surprise everyone with how good you are. Also, don't forget a gift certificate for that special dance partner. Or that couple you know who just announced their engagement. Or that person who needs dance in their life (isn't that everybody?)
