Jay just arrived!! This month has been busy and full of changes for us. It is likely that this is the end of Jay's time in Minneapolis as projects will take us both further away from the Twin Cities. Since this is the case, I asked Jay to teach two series of classes that he had been saving for a time that he would be here longer term. These classes are gold. They put life and music into the dance in a way that is practical at milongas. These classes are for all levels of dancers.

April 19 – The New Basic: Patterns on the Floor
April 26 – The New Basic: One-Step Wonder
May 3 – The New Basic: Thinking Circles
May 10 – The New Basic: Improvisation and Embellishment
$20 Drop-in
$60 4 class package
Each class is 90 minutes.
These classes are open to all-levels of dancers.
Sunday Small Group Intensives
We will be playing with the rhythmic structure in this series.
2:00-4:00 pm at The Center for Performing Arts 3754 Pleasant Ave S
April 17 – Rhythmic Play: Playing Up and Down the Beat
April 24 – Rhythmic Play: Surprises in the Turn
2:00-4:00 pm at Paul and Janeens
May 1 – Rhythmic Play: Cute Quirky Corridas
May 8 – Rhythmic Play: Playing with Milonga and Valse
$25 Drop-in
$80 4 class package
Each class is 2 hours.
These classes are open to all-levels of dancers.
In an effort to make tango in Minneapolis affordable for everyone (and to encourage addicts) the whole month of classes will be offered for just $120. If price is an obstacle please reach out to Jay or Helen
Private Lessons
Jay is available for private lessons while he is in town, April 17th – May 12th
His rate is $80 per hour and a discount is available when scheduling multiple privates.
