This complex "sentence" makes for great work for experienced dancers because it touches on so many of our essential themes in the dance:
posture and contra-body movement
placing the feet and precise stepping for both leaders and followers
suspension and balance
timing and interpretive elements as you execute complex moves
communicating with the upper body
This Tuesday group is advancing at an alarming rate! You will see many of them out on the dance floors in the community. They're the ones moving with confidence and grace. Want to be a part of this class? Just show up!
Micheal will be on vacation this week, so we will look to Andrea to continue this work with review time and special attention paid to followers.
