Class this Week: Tuesday class will start earlier, at 6:30, so that we can cover more information.
Class from 6:30 to 8:00. Lot's of review and technique, to make your leading more clear and your following more effortless. Here is the link to join the video meeting if you can't attend in person: meet.google.com/svk-wxah-ykg
Otherwise, to join by phone, dial +1 402-588-0112 and enter this PIN: 433 594 675#

Private Lessons:  Yes, we can have a socially distanced lesson here if you bring your own partner. Masks are worn! If you have been vaccinated, we can have a lesson together. Or we can do a video lesson!

Tuesday Milonga: We can now safely join here for a milonga for those who have been vaccinated. Come and join us! Mostly tango music, with a bit of other thrown in just to jet everyone moving. More people can join us every week! Or you can join us virtually. I'll have the computer on. meet.google.com/svk-wxah-ykg#
I know we have been hoping for an outdoor party, but the weather has not been cooperating! Maybe next week?

Musings:  It has been hard to stay positive over the last several years. First road closings impacted attendance here, and then Covid hit and closed everything.  Now road construction is finishing up, and I caught a break with an early vaccination, but of course I have to wait for everyone else to get theirs. And now I heard from a person who was nervous about coming to my house because of possible unrest in the city - which seems strange because I live here every day.  But I try to remember the incredible support of this great community we have. The people who prepaid for private lessons. The guy who continued to mail in his class fee even though I wasn't charging for classes. The students who called or wrote to ask how I was doing. Those people who took the chance to try virtual lessons.  We have a great and generous community, and we are all working for the tango scene to be vibrant and interesting. Tango will survive!

Time to plan for 2021 if you want to go on my tour! The 2021 trip will be in November, from the 17th to mid-December. Pick the dates that work for you and let me know so I can arrange housing. Airfares are great right now.  I'll need to know for sure, with a deposit, by the end of July 2021. Limited space is available, so that I can give you the attention you deserve. We have so much fun! See the website for more info.
