Musings: It has been hard to stay positive over the last several years. First road closings impacted attendance here, and then Covid hit and closed everything. Now road construction is finishing up, and I caught a break with an early vaccination, but of course I have to wait for everyone else to get theirs. And now I heard from a person who was nervous about coming to my house because of possible unrest in the city - which seems strange because I live here every day. But I try to remember the incredible support of this great community we have. The people who prepaid for private lessons. The guy who continued to mail in his class fee even though I wasn't charging for classes. The students who called or wrote to ask how I was doing. Those people who took the chance to try virtual lessons. We have a great and generous community, and we are all working for the tango scene to be vibrant and interesting. Time to plan for 2021 if you want to go on my tour! The 2021 trip will be in November, from the 17th to mid-December. Pick the dates that work for you and let me know so I can arrange housing.
