Private Lessons: Yes, we can have a socially distanced lesson here! You can bring your own partner, or if not, there are some great exercises we can do and techniques you can master on your own.. Or we can do a video lesson - it works great! How about a gift certificate for lessons for when this is all over? Confidence in the future!
Musings: This forced social distancing has been so hard on all of us dancers, but only because we dancers are so lucky. We have become so used to always having someplace to go, and someone to talk to, and someone to hug, and someone who will hug us back. When this is all over, and it will be all over, we should not lose the lessons that it has taught us: - Take the opportunity for engagement when it is offered.
- Share the hugs and the love and the touch and the connection.
- Wear the outfit. Even if it is too much, out of style, doesn't quite fit, is a little crazy - if you love it, wear it.
- Dance with everybody.
