We are having another New Year's eve Party blowout at the Eagles. What does it include?  Hats, noisemakers, countdown and champagne toast at midnight, Kisses, food and wine.  Fancy outfits - let's dress to impress!  Gems, satins, glitter, crystals, diamonds, tuxedos, let's outdo ourselves. Nothing is too fancy for this night!  Lots of Tango music, plus Swing, Salsa and (tangoable) blues sets by your beloved DJ Loisa😁. Also some mixers and giveaways, including Oscar Casas workshops, Boutique discounts and other cool stuff.  $15.  8 to 12:30 December 31, 2019 Want to join the party early for dinner at the Eagles? Some people are going to arrive at 7:30 for dinner. The Eagles has great food, and will have some different options for this night on the menu.  Tango Boutique! Clothes, shoes and accessories for the dancer.  Clothes that fit, stay on, have color, flow beautifully, with real style.  And great prices! Shoes from $40 to $150, including some great values in preowned.  All clothes under $100. Come and shop during parties and get an unbiased opinion from seasoned tango dancers. :) Buenos Aires! Time to plan for 2020 if you want to go on my tour! The 2020 trip will be in November to December. Pick the dates that work for you and let me know so I can arrange housing. I'll need to know for sure, with a deposit, by the end of July 2020. Limited space is available, so that I can give you the attention you deserve. [TSOM-Announce] Twin Cities Tango Marathon - Registration Opens Friday

Registration opens in two days….
The Twin Cities Tango Marathon

 

Registration Opens on December 20, 2019

 

Registration will be limited to 130 dancers and we will be working to role-balance the marathon.

 There are three ways to register:

1. As a Lead/Follow team.
   Priority will be given to people registering as lead/follow teams.
2. You can register as a “dual-role” dancer.
   This means that you agree to dance and do dance both roles in equal amounts.
3. You can submit a registration as a single leader or follower.

As noted, priority will be given to teams.
Single lead/follow registrations will be added to a wait list on a first-come, first-served basis. Then leaders and followers will be matched to maintain a good balance of roles.

 

Only registrations for the full event will be sold – no individual milongas (to maintain good role-balance).

 

Single tickets may be sold to non-dancers to listen to the live orchestras. Please inquire.

Prepay and get $2 off. Coming up: Workshops with Oscar Casas coming up in February! Oscar Casas is a well-loved tango teacher all over the world, and we are lucky to have him return. He knows our community well, and always gives us plenty of the things we really need. The dates are the weekend of the 7th, 8th and 9th, (That's the second weekend of February) 2020. Don't forget Gift Certificates! Give your loved one a gift of tango, and it will come back to you in many ways! Call me to arrange a package. Tuesday Milonga: Always a fun time! Tuesday 17th's theme is Red and Green. Wear all red, wear all green, wear a combination, bring red food, and/or green food, and maybe red wine or Midori. People often ask me how this party is. My recommendation: Stop in for a minute and see for yourself. We have great dancers and great conversation, and everyone dances with everyone. Theme for December 24th: Christmas Eve.
