| | | Classes this Week: This week in classes - we start the Tuesday lessons at 6:30 with beginning lessons, then move on to intermediate to continue reviews of more of the important elements of tango. People are really coming along great in their lessons! Everything we do here in classes is geared to make you an incredible dancer - a joy to your partners and inspiring to others. In every class we not only learn the movement, the technique to make it beautiful and how to navigate the floor with it, but how to put it in the music. Students are progressing so rapidly, the classes are really moving!
This week we start the Intermediate and Advanced lessons on Thursday June 3, starting at 6:30 to 7:45, when we ramp up and go until 9. If you feel you are ready to be challenged and learn some really wonderful elements that will take your tango up and above, you should try these Thursday classes!
Private Lessons: If you have been vaccinated, we can have a lesson together. New -Take advantage of the Tango Crash Course Promotion: 5 private lessons, which you must take within 7 days, $350. Giant leaps in improvement and beauty! You owe this to yourself - and your partners. Limited time.
Tuesday Milonga: We can join here for a milonga for those who have been vaccinated. We start at 8:30, right after the lessons. Come and join us! We have a great time. This week's theme - a celebration of Marilyn Monroe, who was born on June 1, 1926. If still alive, she would be celebrating her 95th birthday. Famous for her peroxide-blonde waves, elongated winged flicks and glossy red pout, and that faux beauty spot, she was also quite funny. So we may all sing a very slow and breathy version of Happy Birthday to celebrate.
Musings: "Oh, you know, you're so nice, you're so generous, I see you dancing with everybody, even the beginners. That's so sweet!"
