Regular Public Dances | | | Classes this Week: It's another week of socially disdancing tango! We will meet again under the glow of our computer and phone lights. This week we will pick some more tango orchestras to talk about. We'll talk about the history, the style, the anecdotes, and the legacy of Troilo and DiSari. It's easy to join, and you can choose to join with the video camera, or mute your mic and turn off your video and just lurk. Same links as ever, just click here on your phone or computer: https://meet.google.com/fbu-xbiy-jjs Otherwise, to join by phone, dial +1 774-404-2649 and enter this PIN: 959 028 975# To view more phone numbers, click this link: https://tel.meet/fbu-xbiy-jjs?hs=5 Private Lessons: Still essential, and still valuable even through your video camera. Try it! Call me to schedule. Tuesday Milonga: Still a lot of fun, and it is so important to stay connected. I'm always smiling after these parties! Our theme this week: Prettiest PJ's. Now, this doesn't mean the ones you're wearing every day now, but the ones you save for Special Occasions. ![image.png]() https://meet.google.com/fbu-xbiy-jjs Otherwise, to join by phone, dial +1 774-404-2649 and enter this PIN: 959 028 975# To view more phone numbers, click this link: https://tel.meet/fbu-xbiy-jjs?hs=5 NEXT WEEK: We are going to try a get-together here at the studio - with all social distancing rules applied. The weather is going to be beautiful, so we will be outside, sitting on the grass or in front of the garage, and we will have tango music playing for responsible dancing on the smooth garage floor. Feel free to bring a chair, a mask, a beverage, and a treat to share. If you can't join us physically, we'll have the computer going on for remote watching! Musings: When can we get back to normal? That's the question everyone is asking, and there is just no answer, unfortunately. There are a wide range of opinions - not everyone is in agreement. Businesses have to walk a strange line when they have to tell people not to patronize them. I would like to have the answer, but I don't. We are blessed that the community has not been hurt by this crisis, and I am very anxious to keep it that way. | | Tango Boutique! Clothes, shoes and accessories for the dancer. Clothes that fit, stay on, have color, flow beautifully, with real style. And great prices! Shoes from $40 to $150, including some great values in preowned. All clothes under $100. Come and shop during parties and get an unbiased opinion from seasoned tango dancers. :) | | Buenos Aires! Time to plan for 2018 if you want to go on my tour! The 2018 trip will be in November to December. Pick the dates that work for you and let me know so I can arrange housing. I'll need to know for sure, with a deposit, by the end of July 2018. Limited space is available, so that I can give you the attention you deserve. We have so much fun! See the website for more info. | | | |
