Join the TSoM Board
The TSoM Board is a great group of folks who have been working hard this
year and having a good time strengthening the organization and tango in our
community. In addition to the many successful milongas that have been held,
the board has also been refining and clarifying TSoM?s structure so that we
can be even more proactive, creative, and focused on tango in the coming
years. The board has:
1. Helped to promote tango in public venues and to other dance
communities.
2. Is working on a complete review of all policies.
3. Reworked the TSoM bylaws.
4. Clarified the work and responsibilities of all positions and tasks.
5. Created a functional online repository of TSoM documents.
6. Is working to refine our current web site and
7. Working on building an entirely new web site.
8. Solidified our membership ? now over 140 members!
9. And much more
While much of that seems far away from actually dancing Tango, it has
cleared the way for a very bright and active future for TSoM and how it
promotes and fosters tango in our community.
Join Us
We want you to join us in that effort and hope you will consider becoming a
member of the TSoM Board. Elections are coming up in January. While we?re
excited to be seeking new board members we?re also sad to see some of the
current members moving on. The board members who are moving on are Irene
Erickson, Sarah Sommers, Avery Harrington and Fran Howley (secretary).
